A 44-year-old male teacher at an all-girls private Catholic school in Greenwich is accused of having a sexual relationship with one of his students.

Michael Maida, a math teacher at Convent of the Sacred Heart, surrendered to Greenwich police this week following an investigation that he had sexual contact with a then 16-year-old student in 2009.

He was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

The Catholic school released a statement on Tuesday saying they were informed of the investigation on January 23, 2014, at which time Maida, of Danbury, was placed on administrative leave.

“We have been cooperating fully with the authorities, who notified us today that Mr. Maida was arrested today in connection with the investigation,” Head of School Pamela Juan Hayes said in the statement.

“The school is deeply troubled by this shocking allegation but ill reserve judgment, as we all must, until the facts are made available through the important legal process now under way,” the statement continued.

Maida had taught math at the all-girls school for 17 years.

Bridgeport Bishop Bobby Davis drops dead in front of parishioners after confessing affair

A married Connecticut pastor seeking to cleanse his soul with his parishioners for a long-past infidelity dropped dead in front of his flock.

Bishop Bobby Davis, pastor and founder of the Miracle Faith World Outreach Church in Bridgeport, had asked his parishioners to stay after service on Sunday because he wanted to come clean about something that had happened a long time ago.

Church member Judy Stovall told a local newspaper “he wanted to come clean with all of us.  He wanted to ask our forgiveness.”

Stovall said instead of being angry with their married pastor, who celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary last June with his wife, Christine, they began shouting, “we forgive you, we love you”.

Apparently with all of screaming and howling of support, the 72-year old pastor collapsed.

Davis was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of death was not available at press time.

There are reports that Pastor Davis, who founded his church with his Christine in 1967, had recently confessed to his wife and mother of six kids about his extramarital affair and it was she who had encouraged him to come clean with his parishioners.

Authorities in Greenwich said a local man who was arrested yesterday on DUI charges is a fugitive from Florida.

Greenwich police arrested Paul Wahbeh Ardaji,  whose family owns several restaurants in Connecticut and Florida, including Toscana on Lewis Street, after he failed a sobriety test.

According to the police report, around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday an officer spotted Ardaji, who lives at 179 North Maple Avenue sitting in his car parked near the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Greenwich Avenue, with his keys in the ignition and his head resting on the steering wheel.

As the officer approached the vehicle to conduct a welfare check he noted the distinct smell of alcohol on Ardaji’s breathe.

The officer also stated in his report that Ardaji’s eyes appeared glassy and bloodshot.

A field sobriety test was administered, which Ardaji failed.

He was arrested on DUI charges and his bail was set at $5,000; however, while police were running a check on his Florida driver’s license they found out that Ardaji was wanted in Florida on felony charges.

Details in the Florida crime were not available at press time.

Ardaji is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford on March 31.

….And the award for Greenwich, Connecticut, BIGGEST racist goes to Kai Hedbabny!!!!!

$
0
0

Update

Mr. Hedbabny just came into my store to tell me that he is afraid of me.  I asked him why and he said because I threatened him. I asked him why would I threaten him and his reply was “because I used a bad word last night, I used the N-word.”

I asked if I could take a picture of him and he put his hands up and said “no”, so this is what I got.

Original story

If you really want to know someone’s honest opinion on religion, sex or race, I suggest speaking with them while they are drinking, a lot, because while they are intoxicated they are unable to filter their TRUE thoughts.

Sitting at the Gazebo Bar at the Hyatt Regency hotel Saturday night, this heavily intoxicated Caucasian man sat next to me and immediately introduced himself as Kai “Smith” then he changed “Smith” to “Jones.”

After introducing himself, Kai told me that his wife left him and moved to California with her psychiatrist.  He also found it necessary to tell me that after his wife left he was forced to sell his $1.3 million home at 19 Ridge Brook Road because he couldn’t afford to make the mortgage payments.

Immediately after sharing his financial situation with me, Kai decided to tell me about his criminal activities, at which time I warned him that I was a blogger and it was quite possible that I might share his story with my followers.

Kai says go right ahead and write whatever you want to, and by the way, “you are not a nigger like the others.”

Completely shocked by his racist comment I asked Kai to repeat what he had just said and the idiot did, but this time he added a little more.  Kai asked me if I knew this black prominent woman from town, whom he named.  I am not sure why I said “yes” to this question, but after I did he told me: “she is also not a nigger.”

Jumping up from my bar stool I said to Kai, “I am going to knocked the shit of you if you continue to use that word.”

Kai says to me: “but you are not one of them.  You and [the other woman] are not.  It is a compliment to you both.”  Then he went straight into his criminal background and in between telling me how much he hates his father.

“Me and two nigger prostitutes went into the Chase bank on West Putnam Ave,” Kai told me.  “They called the police claiming that I tried to cash a check with false identification.”

Not wanting to hear anymore of his bigotry, I stopped him, said a few colorful things to him then I left the bar.

I did my research on Kai, and this is what I found.

Fifty-four year old Kai, whose real name is Kai Hedbabny, grew up at 111 Porchuck Road.  He married his wife in 1991 and in July 1997 they purchased a 2,531-sq feet 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom ranch at 19 Ridge Brook Road for $720,000

In 2009, Kai’s wife filed for divorce and in 2010 they sold their home for $1,325.00

In December 2011, Kai was arrested and charged with second-degree falsely reporting an incident and second-degree breach of peace after telling a Chase bank employee that a crime was in progress.

On November 21, 2013, Kai was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and failure to appear.   A homeowner on Garden Place told police they came home to find a drunken Kai, who lived at that address six months ago, in the living room.

On December 3, 2013, Kai was arrested, again, and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, following too closely, and failure to appear.

Kai is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford at 10:00 a.m. on April 11, 2014 to plea on both charges.

So here you have Mr. Hedbabny’s story.  Oh yes, I forgot to mention this, Kai is currently teaching karate to children in Greenwich, and yes, some of his students are African Americans.

I am desperately searching for a picture of Mr. Hedbabny and as soon as I find one I will post it!!!

Authorities in Connecticut arrested a Moroccan national living in Stamford who they said plotted to fly a drone-like flying bomb into a school and federal building.

El Mehdi Semlali Fahi, who had been living in an apartment building on High Ridge Drive with a man he met while incarcerated in Virginia, was arrested on Monday after telling an undercover FBI agent of his plans to blow up the two buildings.

Authorities said they have five recorded conversations between Fahti and the agent where he admitted to having knowledge on how to make a chemical bomb.  It is also said that he told the agent that funding for the device would come from “secret accounts” comprised of money-laundered cash and drug dealing profits.

Authorities did not identify the two buildings that Fahti targeted, but they said the federal building was in Connecticut.

Fahti originally came to the U.S. on a student visa; however, he has been living illegally in this country after flunking out of Virginia International University seven years ago.

In addition to his trespassing arrest in Virginia, Fahti was also arrested on theft charges in California.

It is said that Scott Gellatly shot and killed his wife, Lori, and seriously injured her mother, Merry Jackson, after forcing his way into their home at 43 Sioux Drive around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Forty-six year old Gellatly was arrested around 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot of a former KFC restaurant in Winsted.

When he was captured, police said he had a hose leading from the exhaust pipe into his vehicle.

An official motive for the shootings were not available at press time, but on April 6th Scott posted on his Facebook page that he found his wife having sex with a married friend last summer and she had been having ongoing sexual relationships with other men.

Police said 32-year-old Lori Gellatly applied for an order of protection against her husband last month.  In her protection application Gellatly said her husband “yelled in my face on 4/1/14 and got very angry.”

She also wrote: “I felt threatened and told him I didn’t feel safe and was going to leave with the twins … He then told me I wasn’t going anywhere and grabbed my right thumb and twisted my wrist” while two children were in her arms.

“He then grabbed my upper right arm and pulled [redacted] away from me and almost dropped him. … He calmed down after a social worker with family and children’s aide came. He told me to take the babies and leave which at that point I did.”

A young child was found unharmed in the home.

A Massachusetts woman was over the weekend for calling in a fake bomb threats to Connecticut police.

Former Quinnipiac University student Danielle Shea, of Quincy, Mass, was arrested on Sunday and charged with first-degree threatening and falsely reporting an incident after placing the fake emergency call.

Reports say unbeknownst to her family, Shea dropped out of the Hampton college more than a year ago while still collecting money from her parents for school.  Wearing cap and gown, Shea, 22, arrived for commencement with the graduating class of 2014.  Twenty minutes before the start of the 6:00 p.m. graduation ceremony, Shea placed the first of two emergency calls to the school’s public safety department.  School officials said in her first call she stated that there was a bomb in the school’s library and in her second call she said there were several bombs on campus warning them cancel the graduation.

She was caught after police traced the call to her phone.

During her arraignment on Monday Judge Philip A. Scarpellino said he was deeply troubled that Shea called in two bomb threats during Sunday’s commencement and reprimanded her for lying to her mother about being in school for a year.

The judge said he was not confident that Shea would show up for future court dates just before setting her bail at $10,000.

Sunday’s graduation went on without a hitch in the school’s TD Bank Sports Center.

It’s not immediately known what Shea had been doing for the year and where she had been living.

John Dewees Jr.: I killed my bedridden wife because I was tired of changing her diapers

Authorities in Connecticut said an Enfield man admitted to killing his bedridden wife because he was tired of her soiling the bed.

John Dewees Jr. allegedly confessed to killing wife, Anja Dewees, in their home at 4 Magnolia Drive on May 20.  Authorities said he kept her corpse wrapped in a deflated waterbed mattress for two days before notifying anyone.

Forty-nine year old Dewees told police he had been drinking when he pushed his 45-year-old wife in the tub while giving her a bath.  He said he then punched her in the head before taking her to her bed, where he allegedly strangled her.

He kept her body in the home for two days before going to a neighbor’s house where he said “I killed [Anja].”  However, when he was initially questioned by police, Dewees said his wife’s dead was an accident.  He later confessed saying he grew tired of taking care of his wife, who was sick with liver disease due to heavy drinking.

The police report says Dewees, who worked in the aircraft manufacturing industry for 25 years, had been his wife caregiver for the last four years.

When asked why he wrapped the body in the plastic mattress, Dewees allegedly said because it was beginning to smell.

Dewees, who is due back in court on June 10, was charged with first-degree manslaughter.

Police in Enfield, Connecticut, have arrested a former state trooper whom they said raped an 81-year-old woman in an airport hotel room.

Jeffrey LaPorto has been charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of first-degree unlawful restraint.

The arrest came after the victim’s son reported the incident to police.

Authorities said LaPorto and the victim, who were not known to each other prior to the incident, were both drinking at the bar in Quality Inn on Route 75 near Bradley International Airport sometime late Thursday night.

They said the duo struck up a conversation and sometime between midnight and 12:30 a.m. Friday they went up to the victim’s room where the alleged crime took place.

It’s unclear whether the victim, who is from out-of-state, had been staying at the hotel with her son, but the son called Windsor Locks police to say that his mother had been raped.

She was taken to hospital where doctors said she suffered extensive internal injuries.

During his arraignment on Monday LaPorto’s attorney, Donald Papcsy, told the judge that his 43-year-old client and the elderly woman had consensual sex.

Three years ago LaPorto, who is currently a real estate sales rep with William Raveis Real Estate, was fired from his job as a state trooper.  The reason for the firing was not available at press time.
